Feeding the Hungry
Hot Meals for the Homebound
Since 1984, the Christian Mission Center has been involved with preparing and delivering nutritious, home cooked
meals twice a week to those who are homebound.
On-Site Meals
Our cooks also prepare three meals a day, seven days a week for walk-ins and our shelter residents according to
the following schedule:
Bagged Groceries
Clients who qualify are given a generous supply of food from our large pantry. Individual needs are taken into
consideration and when necessary, some training is provided on how to put the items together for a nutritious meal.
Pantry foods are provided through the donations of individuals, corporations, and local organizations; an annual food
drive by the Boy Scouts, food drive collections by the Post Office, and canned or boxed foods purchased in bulk
from the USDA Food Bank. We use recycled paper and plastic bags for this ministry.
Emergency Assistance Programs
FOOD for anyone in need.
Assistance with UTILITY BILLS that involve a disconnect notice.
RENT or MORTGAGE assistance when individuals are facing eviction.
SHELTER for individuals or families who are homeless.
MEDICATION for life threatening medical conditions for those unable to pay.
